| Travel Instructions | Pack your favorite sleeping pills; Its a long flight. Ask the employees at the gate if there's any exit rows or upgrades available. You Never Know | The Singapore airport is very efficient and only takes about 20 minutes by cab. You're fine to show up an hour before your flight | Take a cab from Seminyak to Ubud. It should take about an hour and some hotels in Ubud will actually send someone to pick you up | Try to get on a flight that arrives in Bangkok sometime between 11:00 and 2:30. This should help you miss the craziest traffic | |
| Why You're there | Singapore is a great place to fly into and spend a night. It also offers a ton of direct flights into Bali. It's a very modern city with beautiful views and great food although more expensive than other cities in Southeast Asia | Seminyak is the beach town of Bali. Stroll around town and visit great restaurants (for cheap). The absolute MUST visit is Potato Head Beach Club. Get there 30 mins before opening to reserve a day-bed | Ubud is beautiful. It's full of rainforests with monkeys and amazing restaurants. The unbelievable quality of hotel you can book for little money is unparralled. Sit back and enjoy a private villa and/or infinity pool | Check out a roof-top bar for an amazing view and eat some yummy Thai food. Definitely checkout Chatuchuk Market on Saturday morning/early afternoon for probably the coolest crafts market in the world. Leave some room in your luggage |
